*CALL SIGN TB7539: I wanted to honor the memory of my best friend Detective Tommy Barnes, who was a godly man and the best work partner a guy could have. His badge number was 7539, and we lost him to cancer in 2024. I miss him every day.

*VOLUNTEERS: GPD has an amazing support team in the Garland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. Throughout the year, they hold many events for us, and some of them service/maintain our squads every Wednesday, rain or shine. We greatly appreciate them!
