*SKUNK: there is a skunk that has been hanging around the station for awhile now that many people have seen and interacted with.

*ICE CREAM TRUCK: my friend Steve Hooten works for RPD, and lost his beautiful 16 year old daughter Ally Hooten in a vehicle accident several years ago. She loved pink and her sports number was 22. They started a fundraiser called Ally's Legacy, with the "22" logo you see on the side of the ice cream truck. *MEMORIAL FOUNTAIN: the fountain, as well as the squad car 1078, and the date 2/7/18 signify honoring the memory of Officer David Sherrard, a brave RPD Officer who died in the line of duty in 2018, protecting his community.

*SUPERMAN SYMBOL: RFD Captain Stephen Hill, badge 233, lost his life in the line of duty in 2020.  He was a big fan of Superman, loving the famous symbol.  We honor his sacrifice. Read more about him on firehero.org/fallen-firefighter/stephen-r-hill

*1990's RPD POLICE CAR: In the mid 90's, I was a teenager and part of the Richardson Police Explorer program. My brother-in-law was an officer at the time, and his badge number is 623 you can see on the side of the car. I put a teenage me standing next to the car.

*PRISONER: Spoiler Alert - if you're having trouble finding him, he is in the backseat of the squad car entering the gate nearest the Fire Department. The window is down for you to see him.
